Marbling Medium from Martha Stewart Crafts (by Plaid)
Being a YouTube addict, I’ve been watching these videos of artists pouring acrylic paint on to canvases, creating amazing marbled and abstract designs. Martha Stewart Crafts is capitalizing on this craze by introducing Marbling Medium so you and I can create home decor projects with the marbled look with ease.

I tried this product out on my Periscope channel and edited it all down for you- as well as showing you my finished pieces at the end!!
Just a quick reminder here- I do live broadcasting via Periscope, and you can catch my live (and chatty) shows there. You can watch them on your mobile device, or on replay on your computer. I also usually publish my videos to YouTube before they show up here on the blog. And sometimes I don’t even share them here, so to get all of the videos straight to your inbox, make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the gear icon to make sure you get the notifications. Usually it’s 2 videos a week, so it’s not like you’ll be swamped!
While I was really unsure of the Marbling Medium while I was using it- after all, I was using a lot of product, it was messy, and I wasn’t sure if I even LIKED it…. after it was dry, I was a convert! Really, it’s prettier when dry!

Right now this product is available exclusively at Michael’s, but generally after a few months it will begin popping up on Amazon.com and other big-box craft stores. Do you like this look? I do have another product line to review that is also marbling/pouring…and I’d love to hear what you think of this trend! Leave me a comment…..
I really appreciate all you do for us. Your videos are always informative and enjoyable. This marbling product is very intriguing. Your finished items were really cool, although I agree with you…it needs to be shiny for the colors to pop. Seems to be more suited for home decor, but would certainly make some gorgeous backgrounds for cards and paper crafts. Thanks so much for the great video.
