Craft Product Review: Glue Glider Pro by Glue Arts

November 25, 2010

Yes, it’s a Thankful Thursday…the MOST “Thankful” day of the year, in fact- Thanksgiving! Today I will be surrounded by my family in the comfort of my home, enjoying the food everyone has prepared. My husband is famous for his families’ sweet potato pie casserole, my Mom is bringing the Mandarin Orange Salad I’ve eaten since childhood, and my sister is bringing stuffing AND a new niece for us all to fawn over!

Yes, I am thankful indeed. For my health and the health of my family; for safety and security in my country and in my home; and for the children- who bring joy and wonder and frustration and amazement everyday.

Yes, I am thankful. For being able to follow my dream and share my love of crafts with an international audience; for having readers who stop by to comment and chat and chastise; for and abundance of tools and techniques and materials so that I can tell my stories through the things that I make.

To share my gratitude- and craft abundance- I’m having a little giveaway….simply leave you comments about what YOU are grateful for, and I’ll pick 5 winners (YES, FIVE!) to receive crafty Grab-Bags. This may include, but not limited to: Stamp pads, scrap paper packs, gift tags, greeting cards, little bottles of paint, rubber stamps, scrapbooking embellishments, binding/ribbon, etc. Basically the extra “stuff” I make and accrue during the pursuit of my crafty exploits. AND, if you win, I’d love to invite you back to share what you made/did with the supplies.

I’ll pick the winners Monday morning, 11/20/10 around 9:30 AM EST just to give y’all time to comment in between food comas and frenetic shopping. ; )

I’m thankful that my husband and I get to spend nearly a week in Michigan with my family (an amount of time nearly unheard of for either of us to be out of our respective offices). I am also thankful for S, my wonderful friend and cat-sitter back in Brooklyn, who takes care of our cat-faces and makes our trips possible.

I’m thankful for my husband’s new jobs, for my son’s continued improvements in speech and motor skills, for the love and support of our friends and family through a year more difficult than we could have imagined, and for the health and mind to enjoy and appreciate them.

I’m thankful for even being able to give thanks! I have so many blessings in my life–my partner, our loving families and friends. Then there is our sweet cuddly cat, of course… but the icing on the cake for me is ART. Art always makes things better for you, in one way or the other, no matter how bleak life might seem at times.
