I’m home and just starting to unpack my bags and I’m pouring over the rest of my CHA photos. I can’t believe I took so many, and I wish I had more time to write posts just about the Craft and Hobby Association Convention! One of the coolest things about attending CHA is seeing what the trends are in products and crafting. One of the unique events of CHA Summer 2011 is the designer challenge. This year’s conference theme is “Craft Fusion”- a celebration of mixed media- and so the challenge was to make a non-wearable dress from mixed-media elements. Some were made by individual designers, others were collaborative efforts.
