One of the reasons I subscribe to a card kit (yes, paid for with my own funds) is that it pushes me to experiment and PLAY- even when I’m really busy! I’ve actually fallen behind a month and the Simon Says Stamp September”Celebrations” kit has been sitting way too long. (And August is still on the shelf!!) So FINALLY I have the kitchen project done and I pulled out the kit!
By the way, I’ve decided I like Simon Says Stamp so much, I’ve become and affiliate partner and you can use http://shrsl.com/?~brev to buy! Thank you!
I made you a little video showing you the contents and the cards I made:
And here are the stills of those cards again.

I do love how the patterned paper really shines through the vivid ink colors!

Lots of cool options~ !
I used Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pads (affiliate link) for a lot of these, so you may want to check out my review as well. ( I made a video for that, too!)
I’d love to hear from you-leave me a comment!

I subscribe to the SSS Monthly card kits. I passed on receiving this one. The colors all seem like Spring and the papers looked hard to work with. Balloon stamps? Everyone already has them . . .
I love the cards you made with this card kit. They are beautiful & inventive. Thank you for sharing!
That’s kind of the thing with card kits- right, Susan? It’s not always going to appeal to everyone. I love that you can pass it up and still be in the queue for the subscription! And you know what? I DIDN’T have balloon stamps!!! LOL!
Thanks for the review! I do have balloon stamps but I got some really great ideas.
Love the zen jewel toned card! Those colors and the layout are great. I had never heard of this kit nor have I worked with gesso before, so going to check it out. Thanks for the info and for sharing your work.
