Jenny,
I am a subscriber for these kits and I passed on this one since I did not see the value. But I did buy the Enchanted Gold embossing powder. YEOW, I have had so many problems with it. First, it does not come across very strong in color and Jennifer McGuire suggested restamping with more ink and reapplying it. Another mess. I found when I heated it, the sparkle/glitter just falls off unless I overheat it and then the whole embossing powder disappears. Then the embossing ink pad is now full of glitter and it getting on everything. Your cards looked good. How did you do it? The Platinum I have had for quite a while and love the warm silver look it has. Help!?@#$
Susan- I agree, the Enchanted Gold is more of a translucent effect. The color is light (it would help to have a darker embossing ink) but it’s more of an effect than a bold color. I also used it more with the double-sticky tape and it worked great that way. Also, try a very freshly re-inked pad- that might help too! Good luck, -J
