Hello Crafters! As you know Craft Test Dummies was at this last CHA in Las Vegas when Tim Holtz debuted his new Distress glitter with Ranger Ink.
Here’s how it’s described on the Ranger Ink website:
Distress Glitter complements the nostalgic palette of other Distress products with its unique glitter type to mimic the look of vintage mica. Twenty-four timeless Distress shades are available in 18 gm clear jars with a brushed aluminum lid. Use with Ranger Sticky Embossing Powder, Wonder Tape and other Ranger adhesives to add a touch of vintage sparkle.

I was lucky enough to get my hot little hands on some of this gorgeous new sparkliness and am here today to answer some questions that you might have about the new Distress Glitter. Take a look at the video and please ignore my inky fingers and my unintentional occasional impression of rain man.
Here are some close-ups of the samples from the video.

I was thoroughly happy with my distress glitter; I’m extremely happy to have it among my Ranger Ink crafty arsenal. Distress Glitter is currently available at many online retailers for approximately $4-$5 a jar. Frankly, I find this a screaming deal. A little glitter goes a long way; I glittered the straps of a pair of flipflops and it barely made a dent in my jar. What do you think crafters? Is Distress Glitter for you? I know I love it! Let me know what you think in the comments!

Thank you for all the help. I’m going to get some as soon as my little store gets them in.
I love the distress glitter. I have only 2 colors but I want more. I really like the coverage anf the bling it has. Its my new GoTo glitter
I don’t have any in my possession yet but do have some on order. Can hardly wait to get it and try it on a Halloween project I’m working on. I love glitter and shine but this is not “your mother’s” glitter. It is really classy. Thanks for all the reviews you do — I really benefit from them.
Thanks for the comparisons and attention to detail. I learned a couple of new glitter facts today and I appreciate it! Love this stuff!!!
I would LOVE to see a tutorial of how you used glitter for your flip flops!!
I also would like to learn more about how you glittered the flip flops. What type of glue did you use?
