Paper Crafts Reivew: Tada Creative Studios (Something New!)

October 26, 2010

As I was browsing the various CHA booths this past summer I stumbled upon a new Scrapbook Paper Manufacturer that I had not seen before, totally new to me!  I thought the name was catchy and the product was catchy as well.  I stepped in to the booth to take a closer look and met Mary.  She was kind enough to take the time to show me all of their wonderful paper lines that were rich with color and clever design.

Tada Creative Studios began in 2005 when Mary and Annette were on the way to a gift fair in Atlanta.  Both ladies have a strong advertising and marketing background which serves them well in this creative endeavor together.  In addition to the wholesale design work, they also specialize in custom announcements, invitations, and stationery.  What creativity these two have!

After seeing the beautiful and high quality papers they have designed I was just itching to work with them!  So Mary agreed to send me a sample of their Jolly Holly days line.  They arrived at my door a couple of weeks ago and I finally got a chance to play.  What a wonderful quality product they make!

I wanted to do something special that would represent the feel of this particular line of paper so I decided to create a cute little gingerbread house!  I used a chipboard kit  as the base and then used the Tada Creative Studios patterned cardstock to cover it.  Notice how I also made cute little window boxes?

Tada Creative Studios released 4 other lines at CHA summer as well.  I’ve posted the names below and if you click on each link it will take you directly to each line to view.

Bountiful Blooms

The Big Top

Jock Jams

A Little R&R

Aren’t they all so cute?  So many possibilities and I love how they did a circus themed line.  You just don’t find circus themed scrapbooking supplies often and it is a much needed product!

So after getting to work with the product a bit here is my breakdown

Pros
Rich colors
Exceptional design quality
Unique lines
Easy to work with

Cons
I would love to see some coordinating ribbons or brads

Thanks for taking a peek at the new company I discovered at CHA!
Happy crafting,
Lisa

Your house is very cute Lisa! I can’t imagaine what it would be like to craft something and actually have somewhere to put it! LOL! The links did not work for me, but I’ll stop by again tomorrow and check.
