These are packaged with a green ring to keep it from dripping during shipping-so make sure you remove it prior to use.

Here’s how the Aqua Shimmer are described on the Tonic website:

Add shimmering glitter details to all of your crafting projects. The perfectly formed watercolor brush nib makes the pens extremely versatile and is perfect for adding small detail or color washing areas.

Two glitter gloss pens in each pack.

Like the Aqua Flow brush pens I reviewed earlier, they have an actual paint brush style tip:

And the Aqua Shimmer pen has a lovely silvery/white shimmer to it. It’s easiest to see on black paper.

It’s layerable, too- so more coats mean more shimmer.

Here’s a video I made for you….and there is a comparison of Wink Of Stella included. I knew you all would ask!

These retail for 8.99 per two-pack, so they are actually a bit less expensive than the Wink of Stell a counterpart.

Personally, I love them for blending my other water-based markers- I LOVE Aqua Shimmer!

Does the glitter stay on the paper or cardstock? I mean does it wipe or rub off?
I’ve tried using different brushes/markers/pens to give a bit of sparkle to my cards, but a few had disappointed me and so many are too expensive to try everyone that comes out…which is why we depend on you!!
I’ve tried the Wink of Luna Glitter Brushes and they were nice, the glitter stayed fairly well.
The ones I put my trust in enough to buy 2 sets before testing them was the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brushes. The colors are very pretty, but when they dry it rubs right off.
Looks like I will be getting a pack of these aqua shimmer gloss brushes to try out next!!

Hi Jennifer, thx for the video I’ve watched it although I already use these shimmer pens. I absolutely love them and they are better price and better results than the Wink of Stella. I have used them to colour in stamps together with aquarell pencils loooove it.

BTW can you tell something more about Tsukineko’s Brilliance and VersaMagic?

Thx again for your great video’s, take care.
    Greetings, Veerle
