While visiting the ProvoCraft booth and checking out the Cricut Imagine (see my posts here and here), I got to take a peek at the newly redesigned Cuttlebug manual die-cutting machine.
The biggest improvements to the design are a flip-up handle, sleeker design (a handle that can be used for transporting and stabilizing while cranking), and reportedly it’s also lighter.
Don’t take my word for it, though- listen to the wonderful lilting tones of Maggie LaMarre, who is a ProvoCraft Designer and the editor of the CuttlebugChallenge blog. Make sure you visit her blog for many inspiring projects and designs!
Watch this video to see all of the features of the newly re-designed machine and the Emboss Plus dies…which emboss and cut in one step!

I’m new to the scrapbooking world and I’m still debating on the cuttlebug or the Big Shot but after seeing this demo I’m leaning towards this one…just have to wait until it appears in the stores.
Noel- I may be biased, but I have the “old school” Cuttlebug and I love it! I bet with the new version coming out you can get a really great deal on the original…..
