honestly i loved them all. but i’m a bit torn between the tintable fabric medium because i love painting fabric, i include it in most of my altered projects and those giant sponge daubers thingies because when your making something big you won’t have to rest in between application, it allows more coverage per dab teehee.
Thanks for all the useful information and inspiration. and thanks for a chance to win some MS goodies. 🙂
I’m really loving the stencils and paints that can be used on fabric. It looks really neat.
Gosh, I can’t pick one product. I am so interested in the paints. I (like many of us lately) am in love with stencils. So I can’t wait to try them. And all of the other accessories from brushes to mediums. Can’t wait to try this new product line.
I’m the most excited by the ability to make any of the paints into spray paint! It’s something I haven’t seen before for craft paints and it opens up a whole bunch of possibilities.
I work at Michaels and have tried almost everything Martha. I love the paints, the stencils, the foil sheets, the flocking sheets, the chalkboard paints, as well as the older products and class kits. My favorite item of all time is the Score Board. I use it all the time to make boxes, cards, envelopes, and sturdy gift bags.
But when those paints, mediums, and finishes rolled in, everyone I work with was drooling to get their hands on all of it. The gloss paints are an instant hit for most of our associates.
I am so excited there is a new glass paint out. I’ve been painting glass projects for about 5 yrs now and there are few that actually hold up. I’m thinking if they are from MS they will be highly tested. I would love to try any paint in her new collection…especially the gloss.
The tint-able fabric medium and the spray can adapter (my husband is really scared about that one – lol). The brushes look amazing! I am really excited after seeing all of the awesome project ideas 🙂
Carolyn- you need to read my review of the paints here: http://www.crafttestdummies.com/craft-product-reviews/craft-product-review-overview-of-martha-stewart-paints-by-plaid/
And I’ll be reporting back on how well the paints hold up on glass over time, to be sure!
Cindy- recently I noticed an important distinction with the spray paints. There are specific kits for Satin and Gloss finishes- and you must buy the right kit to go with the finish of paint you are using. Here’s a blurb from the company:
The spray paint kit converts all Martha Stewart Crafts paint, except glitter paint, into
aerosol paint. The satin spray medium is recommended for use with satin paints, and the
gloss with high gloss, metallic, or pearl, although you can mix and match to alter the finish.
So no glitter spray paint! Boo! But in any event, I’ll run a full article on my spray painting adventures with the MS Spray Paint Kit soon!
Well, I am thrilled to get a chance to win…thank you. I would love to try/win these…I have alot of wood and some birdhouses , that are calling for some COLOR!! And definitely try some large daubers to blend and or mute colors. ohhh the possibilities…Thank you so very much!
Saw Marth’s presentation of these products on HSN and would love to give these a try. She has so many products that go along with these paints, would love to give this a try. Thanks.
The gloss paints look great to me. There are times when you just want that shine without the bother of applying another finish!
I really like to try the glass paint for christmas ornament. Also all the acrylic line have so fabulous colours… Thank for the giveawaya
OMG! what wouldn’t I use!? I love ALL the products. I do a lot of custom wall hangings mostly for children’s rooms. The whole line of paints would come is handy as well as the brushes. Love it!
I’m excited about the glitter paint!
I love the idea of spray paints. Its such a pain to drag out the airbrush and all the accessories that we rarely spray paint amymore. Thanks for the chance to win.
I think it’s brilliant that they thought to design the paint applicators to fit the paint bottles!! I also love that they paint can be used on so many different surfaces!!
I have several paint projects piling up – who could use some more paints? … this girl-that’s who!!! hehehe
Cindy- the glossy paints ARE really glossy. Love them!
Scrapbazaar- just want to make sure you know ALL the paints can be used on glass, because of their unique resin base- so there aren’t any that are labeled “glass paints.” Make sure you read my review for more infomation: http://www.crafttestdummies.com/craft-product-reviews/craft-product-review-overview-of-martha-stewart-paints-by-plaid/
I’m loving the spray paints. My husband does woodworking and I do the painting, so anything to make the job easier and the looks awesome.
WOW total A-W-E-S-O-M-E-N-E-S-S! This is very versital!!! I am lost for words. Thanks for a chance to win. Love this blog!
Jess B.
Just returned from having a tooth extracted (emergency procedure – totally unexpected) and decided to get on-line and see if I could find something that would take my mind off the pain and Hurricane Irene when I found your blog. What fun! And, a free offer to boot! I’m not familiar with any of the Martha Stewart items you mention and am eager to try them out — am especially intrigued by something called a “foam pouncer”.
I’ve recently started “Soulistry” art workshops/retreats and am always on the lookout for new products to introduce to students – and for me to play with of course. 🙂
Thanks for putting my name into the mix and here’s hoping I’m lucky enough to be the recipient. Now, back to becoming familiar with “Craft Test Dummies”. Great title btw. 🙂
I love the fact that you can use the same paint on all different mediums and the wonderful selection of colors! Martha definately knows what a crafter needs!
I think we’re most excited about the paint because it can go on to any surface! Not only are we treated to a gorgeous array of finishes, and a great colour palette, but the versatility of the products is a fantastic added bonus… 🙂
Have read all your reviews and would LOVE to try these out!
Jess
I’m really excited about how you can turn the paint into spray paint. That is the coolest… times 10!!!
Thanks for the chance to win.
I saw these paints at M’s and don’t know which one to buy first. I got the frost etch effect and the shatter effect to start.
I am excited about the glitter paint and the roller.
…..excuse misfire….I’d love to share paints with my mom…she is a tole wizard …..The stencils look like fun… you wrote so well …..thanks ….peace
I would love to win some Martha Stewart paint. Her products are always such high quality; they always have that extra special something. Thanks for the opportunity!
Ohhhh, love paint. These Martha Stewart paints by plaid should be great. What do I like best? All of them! Because Martha always has high quality products. thanks
I’m interested in all of it but really want try the stencils on fabric!
I adore the sponge-tip applicators for the paints! Looks like it would save SO much time! Thanks!
What I love? It’s simply got to be that the paint, can be used on EVERYTHING. Everything. That is just … amazing! No more buying three or four different types of paint to do this or that. Instead I can use Martha’s. And even better, are the names of the paint! Chipotle! Scottish Highlands! Seafoam Lavender! on and on. The quality of the paint itself is outstanding. SO creamy. It’s like … paint butter. Silly but true.
I picked up some small stencils and foam pouncers last evening. Again, high quality products. Reasonable prices. Is there really anything to complain about? 🙂
These paints come in bulk boxes @ Michaels…get your paint on people!! 10 different colors per box – can someone say OH YEAH!!!
Just being able to use the same paint on multi surfaces!! That ought to save me some moola!!
I’m so excited about the high gloss paint–but really I’m excited about all of it!
I was reading your blog about the paints and would love to try some.
I have GOT to have these Martha Stewart products! Please enter me!!
Woo! Glitter paint!? And the tops for the paint bottles look very cool.
I am excited about the versatility of the new Martha paints. We used to have to buy a different paint for every different surface you wanted to paint. That could become quite costly if you were only painting something metal once. The fact that the paints will stick to anything is very exciting and pocketbook friendly, too!!
I’m loving the idea of one paint for many surfaces. And would love to try that glitter paint!
I love everything, but I am most excited about the flat-top paintbrush. That’s exactly the size and type I use most often.
I think I am most excited about being able to buy one kind of paint for every application. I also am excited about the applicator tips and the special brushes for plaids! Cool stuff.
? tempted…. never win anything so I am game. 🙂
Will have to check them out further.
The paints are a hit with me so many colors to choose from and different types.
I love the fabric medium and the spongy dauber thingies. Can’t wait to try them!
I am most interested in the fine line bottle tips and bottles. It’s so hard to find a good fine tip at a reasonable price point!
edie
Oh, so excited to try everything, but I love glitter paint the most!
I’m so excited about the Martha Stewart paint line…your reviews really are awesome.
These look soooo awesome! I never even knew they existed. <3
I would love to win some paint. I was just looking at them today at Michaels.
Sara- you’re killing me- I’ve been reviewing them all week!!! PLEASE tell me you’ll go back & read my posts!
I totally need to test these babies out!!
They look like so much fun.
Thanks for all of your reviews all week!! I can’t wait to try her paint line, I have Christmas projects in mind for them!! Thanks for a chance to win!!
The paint is super exciting!!! It’s the total package that makes them so great: awesome colors, a variety of finishes, works on lots of stuff, and they are certified non-toxic. Simply dreamy…{!}
The paints are all very cool, but the tops you can put on the bottles – oh. my. goodness! I’ll have to play with the empty bottle in the set just so I can play with the tips with MS paint and…other brands, seditious and sneaky person that I am.
I’d love to try the glitter paint but truly, the fabric paints intrigue me the most- I’ve seen some beautiful painted pillows over the past week.
I love the look of the High Gloss Paint that you used on the birdhouse. Very glossy, and I have a bird feeder that could do with some colouring. It’s just base wood at the moment.
Jen- just a reminder that there are NO fabric paints in this line. But mix the Tinatable Fabric Medium with any paint & you can use it with fabrics. Make site you read my review of the TFM for the full report!
Oh Glitter Paint…with Christmas coming, I’ll be using that for sure. I make big messes trying to use glitter on my already painted projects. This would solve one big problem.
I’m excited about all of them!! I can’t wait to play with all them! I think I’m most excited about all of the add-ons- those are going to be so much fun to play with!
Great giveaway!!!
jenn z.
I love the idea of the dauber and fine point tips. Great idea! I would love to win!
i think i would be excited about the glitter paint and stencils =]
I can’t wait to try the high gloss and glitter paint! We’ve got lots of crafty projects to finish around here with those!
I love working with daubers. Would love to win.
I am itching to paint metal and glass… I love the pearls!!! 🙂
Glitter Paint!!
I would love to try out the paint with the stencils – so much fun to be had!!
