Kid’s Craft Kit Review: Total Class Creative “Fall Felt”

I know Halloween is just around the corner, but I have a few crafty fall/Halloween goodies that were too good to wait ’til next year! One of those is from Total Class Creative. They have a line of “Fall Felt” crafting goodies, and they send me some to play with!

The line includes felt baskets, pop-up boxes, and sticky felt shapes. I got a leaf assortment and pumpkin faces!

Since this is a “peel-and-stick” craft, it’s perfect for the little wee ones in your life. Kids 3 and up can have fun decorating their own felt pumpkin basket for trick-or-treating! Also, since the felt Jack-o-Lantern face stickers have 3 “faces” in a pack, you can use the extra to jazz up an orange sweatshirt (perfect to wear to the school party), on a picture frame, or on a fresh pumpkin as a centerpiece.

My daughter barely let me take photos- she was begging to make her jack-o-latern basket! Here’s how it turned out:

She also has started on her fall leaf basket- she tells me she’s going to use it to go on “nature walks” and collect acorns.

However, I want to let you know that these felt stickers are NOT just for kids’ stuff! These are high-quality felt shapes that are thick and a little stiff.

These are lovely for scrapbook pages, fabric postcards, and adorning gift bags. We even used a leftover “face” to trick out this little pumpkin that will stay inside:

Super-cute, right? And no messy carving or rotting pumpkins!

Anyway, like the other goodies I’ve reviewed from Total Class Creative, these felt crafts are fun, creative, and low on the “mess” factor. They would be excellent for senior groups, scouts, and even Pre-K’s….and of course, I like them too!

Stay tuned- tomorrow I’m going to talk about their wooden cut-out fall centerpieces!
