After last years’ success with the Envelope Punch Board, it only made sense that We R Memory Keepers would up their game and come up with new versions of the punch board. At CHA last summer they debuted FOUR new ones- and today, we’ll take a closer look at two of them: Gift Box Punch Board.
Here’s how they are described on the website:
With the release of the award-winning Envelope Punch Board, We R Memory Keepers have helped crafters make the outside of a package count just as much as the inside. The release of a series of Punch Boards continues to do just that. Punch Boards make it easy, not to mention cost effective, to create party bags and boxes simply by punching and scoring using any paper. Create bags and boxes in a variety of sizes and use them for special occasions such as baby and wedding showers, birthdays, holidays, party favors, and more. Use the Punch Boards to create Gift Bags, Gift Boxes, Pillow Boxes, and Candy Boxes. The Punch Boards (MSRP $19.99) begin shipping this October.
There are plenty of options on how to “finish” the boxes. Tape, glue, or even brads.
As stated above, these should be hitting your stores any moment if they haven’t already. I already have plans to use both of them for different holiday crafts (just wait and see!!!)
These will retail for $19.99, but I’m positive there will be sales and specials to be found. Do you think the cost is justified? (Personally, if it encourages me to use up more of my paper hoard stash, then it’s a worthy investment to me!
Tomorrow we’ll look at the Candy Box Punch- so stay tuned!
I’d love your comments & questions!

This is already on my Christmas list! Love the envelope board.

After reading your past review of the envelope maker, I ran out and got one — and I love it. If I could think of more uses for handmade boxes, I’d run out and get this one, too.

Thanx ever so much for the info! Just got the envelope board and have been dying to see how the rest work out. I also have a big paper stash that needs to be used and thought that the bag board and the boxes would be a great way to use up some of my paper. 🙂
have been dying

Do you know what the release date of these items are. I saw them on a website saying October and now it’s saying December.
Jenny says
Kathy- I’d contact the company for more information. Have you tried asking on the WRMK Facebook page?
Ginny says
Is there much difference between the WRMK envelope board and the Stampin’ Up envelope board? I saw a video on You Tube where they were using the Stampin’ Up envelope board to make boxes. Then you would not need to purchase a separate board to make boxes. What’s your opinion?
Jenny says
Ginny- The SU board and the WRMK board are IDENTICAL!!! They are only different colors and branded specifically for SU. This is straight from my rep at the company.
Lisa Reynolds says
Ginny, I have the envelope punch board and have seen how to make boxes. Like you, I wonder if we need the box maker board? Anyone have an opinion about this? THANKS!

trying to make a 3.75 x 1 x 2.5″ box and have wasted tons of paper – is it possible?
