Hey crafty friends! I was in the middle of a review and I was using the Tsukineko Multi-Purpose Squeegee and I was thinking, “DANG, this is SO much better than on old hotel card.” I was singing it’s praises in my head when it occurred to me to share it with YOU, too!

My favorite craft tool under 5 dollars should be a flower punch… I am in love with those!!!

I was looking for something just like this! Tsukineko seem like a really reliable brand – will be getting my hands on some.

Can’t think of anything to recommend but I wanted to thank you for letting others know that a squeegee is the way to go for spreading paint. While silkscreening a squeegee will not damage the screen, glides through the paint and is easy to keep clean. I’m all for repurposing, but the one time I used a credit card while applying a sealant, I almost damaged the paper I was sealing, which the rubber of the squeegee wouldn’t have done. I didn’t know about this item and will be on the lookout, thanks!

This is a great tip on a new tool. I use lots of dollar store items in my projects – make-up sponges for applying inks or paints and the little makeup applicators that come with blush or powder foundation that I never use for that purpose. Into the studio they go for making stuff.
