Crafters 360 Bag & Crafters Shoulder Bag by We R Memory Keepers

September 10, 2013

Sometimes you need to take your crafts on the road (crops, vacations) or just have a “mobile craft room” to store your goodies out of the way. My friends, let me introduce you to the coolest new rolly bag EVER, the We R Memory Keepers – 360 Crafter’s Bag!

360 Crafters Bag from WRMK

Here’s how they describe it on the website:

Organize and store crafting supplies in style with this adorable multi-functional crafter’s bag. Made from a two-toned printed fabric, it adds style and sophistication to storing crafting supplies. It’s the first crafter’s bag with top-of-the-line 360 wheels making it easier to take on the go. With dozens of multi-sized pockets, there’s plenty of space to store lots of crafting supplies. And with removable storage pockets and sturdy zippers, it’s easy to take out just what’s needed for the project at hand. The built-in accordion pockets help store paper by theme, color or project type, and the latched pockets help to see what’s inside the bag while cropping. The 360 Crafter’s Bag & Crafter’s Storage Bag will start shipping this spring.

So let me start out by saying that I don’t go to crops. (Mostly because I’m a non-traditional scrapbooker.) But I DO travel quite a bit and I love to bring my crafty goodies along with me! Also, as a frequent traveler to HSN, I often have to bring finished craft samples, supplies, and props to and from the studio. Now the Crafters 360 Bag is my new “go-to” carry on to bring all of those items, organized and in style!

We R Memory Keepers actually has a great video for you- so take a peek at it:

Let me show you some photos I took in the studio. I CANNOT BELIEVE the amazing storage in this bag!

IMG_4293

First, you open the front zipper compartment. Along the inside wall there are scads of mes compartments-small and larger- perfect for scissors, punches, and small tools. The mesh seems very sturdy and you can see through it so that you can identify what is in there.

IMG_4294

The OUTSIDE wall of the front zippered pocket has these cool see-through vinyl zippered pouches. There are different sizes of these, too- and do you see the snaps? They SNAP into the bag so that you can organize it for transport, but then just snap it out and use it on the your table. Then snap it back it and POOF- you are ready to go!  Brilliant design.

IMG_4295

On each side there are two side wings- with more mesh pouches. Now, if you were using this for travel, you could also fit your shoes in here, or your jewelry. This is a great feature, as often the sides of a bag are kind of dead space. So smart!

IMG_4297

Now, when you unzip the MAIN compartment, there are two straps that you also need to unbuckle. In the above photo, I have unbuckled them (it’s a simple press-release lock) and the whole front lies flat. Here you see MORE see-through vinyl pouches. I especially love that long one that you can use for rulers or knitting needles! These also snap in.  Along the sides are MORE mesh pouches, too. and the back straps hold in a zippered paper storage pouch. IMG_4298

The zippered pouch can be completely removed…and pardon me, but I’m going to use this to hold my iPad! It has just enough padding to cushion it (or pages with delicate embellishments.) And I love that it has it’s own buckle straps to keep it in place.

IMG_4299

Now, some of the details here I just LOVE. Like this slide-out ID tag on the back zip pocket. Oh, wait- I did I mention that it has ANOTHER zip pocket on the back?? Yes, yes it does. And it’s the perfect size for a small cutting mat.
IMG_4301

Plus the handle telescopes up and is VERY sturdy. I roll through airports monthly, and this handle is sturdier than my regular luggage. Just sayin’.

IMG_4302

The bag measures about 11 inches deep- but that is empty. It might pouf out a bit when you jam it full of goodies!
IMG_4303

I measures 20 inches wide and 19 inches high- which puts it right in line with carry-on luggage sizing. Also in this photo, you can see the durable 360 double spinner wheels. This makes it easy to navigate on a show floor or airport. Instead of having to pull it behind you, you can “walk” it along side you, guiding it with the handle. Its SO much easier to handle.

Oh, and remember how I said I loved the little details? Well, here’s another: that handle on the bottom that makes it easy to pull out of the overhead compartment. Again, smart design makes all the difference.

Now, let’s not forget that there is a companion shoulder bag- . You can buy them together on HSN, or separately other places (including at Amazon, using our affiliate links below. AND you get a great deal!)  They do work beautifully together.

IMG_4307

The Crafter’s Shoulder Bag
15.5 inches wide, 17″ high and 3 .75 inches deep.  It coordinates with the 360 bag, and there is a little discreet logo medallion on the outside. Not too big or showy.

IMG_4308

It comes with a shoulder strap that latches onto the outsides for easy carrying. Nice sturdy metal buckles, too.

IMG_4309

The back side has a velcro pocket with a zipper. ON THE BOTTOM. Why? SO you can do THIS!

IMG_4310

Yup, just slide the back pocket over the telescoping handle to secure it to the 360 bag. Again, this makes it super-easy to “walk) your bag on a show floor, at a crop, or through an airport.

IMG_4312

Now, you also have great storage in the shoulder bag. The front pocket has a little zip pouch and also pockets for pens, phones, etc.

IMG_4304

INSIDE the bag you have more of those functional mesh pouches AND a removable accordion paper file! It snaps in for transport, but is easily removable so you can move it to your workspace. I’m going to use it to hold my on-air demos for HSN. On section per product. I LOVE being organized!

Now here’s the deal- even if you didn’t go to crops, I’d put this on my holiday wish list. This bag is like a studio on wheels! You could load this up with crafting supplies and then craft on your dining room table or whatever, and then pack it up and keep it in your closet when company comes over. There are SO many places to hold your supplies, there is really no excuse for not being organized. I could also see this bag for sewers, knitters, quilters, polymer clayers… really anyone who has a hobby that has lots of products to keep organized.

I also love the choice of color and pattern. Nice and neutral, so my hubby could use this bag too.

This is a fabulous bag, and I can’t wait to take it on my trip next week!

Oh- and one more bit of BIG news- last week We R Memory Keepers announced that they have acquired LifeStyle Crafts/QuikCuts! I’m really excited to see this- I love the quality of WRMK, and combined with the cool product lines of Lifestyle Crafts, well… let’s say you just might need TWO bags soon to hold all the crafty goodness. Read the official announcement about the merger here.

What would *you* use this faboo bag for???

This is a great bag…I love mine and I have sold many of them too on my online shop. They did a fabulous job on these bags. A must have the crafter on the go that is for sure.

This would be great for all the traveling I do in the fall. Currently, I use tw small suitcases to hold my crafting supplies, but things do have a tendency to slide around.

Drool…..I saw this when they debuted it on HSN…it looked great then and I’m glad to know it works as well in the hands of a crafter. Too bad I’ve got no money to buy one!

I bought this Trolly case and bag on HSN and LOVE it. Everything you said about them is a fact.
The only area that I have a little concern is with the snaps over time. I would have liked heavy duty velcro BUT I’ve NOT had a problem and would add Velcro if ever needed.
SO easy to handle, rolls beautifully and storage, storage and MORE storage. VERY well designed! It is definitely the BEST. Love the color too!!

Great review, I have one question. I notice on the HSN reviews that some folks point out a smell. Now it looks like the later reviews don’t point that out, I have some breathing probs and have waited to buy. What if any type of smell, did your case have? Would love to hear from the others on this post that ordered if they had any problems. Thanks again!

I just purchased this bag during Black Friday at Archiver’s here in Atlanta, GA. I LOVE this bag! I also purchased the companion bag. I am more of a card-making crafter with a tiny bit of scrapbooking on the side. I have lots of rubber stamps, watercolor pens that are EXPENSIVE (I’m talking 10 for $30 kind of thing.. Tombow for those who are familiar) & I love that I can put all of my materials into 2 bags. I’m very much a perfectionist so I’m having a hard time with finding placement for my Rubber Stamps that I prefer but it’s a user-issue NOT a product-issue. I also travel quite a bit & agree that this bag is better quality material and craftsmanship than some of my $300-$400 luggage. If you’re teetering on deciding whether this bag will hold all of your supplies or is it as wonderful as we all say, I must say that the perfectionist in me loves that I can keep all of my materials organized. I, unfortunately, do not have a dedicated craft room as of now so I’m the crafter that whips this bag out and crafts either on my dining room table or on my craft table setup in my living room. Having this bag roll around my carpet in my condo makes it easy to move from where I store it, to where I’m working. I highly recommend this bag, it’s companion shoulder bag and I suggest working with placement of materials and tools so that you determine what organization works best for you.

For those of you who mentioned the price point & the inability to purchase due to that, I encourage you to watch local stores that have 40% or 50% coupons for specific days (often during the week – frequently NOT on the weekend) and plan to purchase your bag one day after work or on your way home from the gym. I didn’t pay full price for my bag because I, too am on a tight budget. There are also no rules that say both bags have to be purchased at the same time so, again, watch for another high percentage off coupon and rush yourself to your nearest crafting store to purchase! Thank you for an awesome review of this bag and it’s companion bag. I had NOT discovered the bottom zipper on the companion bag and I am STOKED to know that I can double it up to make zooming from my car to my condo back to my car easier than it’s ever been before. I’m so excited to continue using these products and to add to my collection with Lifestyle products. Enjoy your bags as I enjoy mine too!

Happy crafting and Merry Christmas to you all! <3 Thanks again!!
