I absolutely LOVE manual die-cutting. For me, it’s easier than firing up a program and setting up a digital machine. But my theory is if you don’t see your dies, you won’t use them. Take a peek and see how I store my thin-rule dies so I use them all the time!
Here’s another look at those doors:
I’d love to hear how you store your dies. Leave me a comment and a link if you’ve got one!

Just an FYI – I bought Frost King Magnetic Vent Covers from Home Depot. A 3 pack of 8″x 15″, easy to trim to size currently sells for $4.47 a package. They work great.

I have my dies in an old free standing cabinet. I wonder if painting the doors with magnetic paint would serve the same purpose? I would have to coast compare first, though! Using the magnetic sheets- do you find that the dies slip when on the door and the door gets opened and closed?

Great idea! I need to find a way to utilize this in my basement craft area. The walls are painted concrete and anything I stick to them just peels the paint. I have some large book racks that might work, though.

What an awesome idea.imy cupboard doors may never be the same! I wish that all my embossing folders could be out, too, as I forget about them.

I’ll see if I can come up with a creative solution for those, too.

Anne- the reason I went with magnet sheets is that they do hold better than magnet paint. I’ve used the paint in the past and it doesn’t seem to hold as well as the sheets. Plus for me, applying the sheets to the wall is SO much easier than painting it.

Great tip! Thanks!
