I taught my “Luscious Layers” class at Grand River Beads on Thursday night. We had a lovely turn out of 4 ladies, all new to my classes. They made great pieces!
I was only prepared for 3 (we had one last-minute drop-in), so I had to use some scrap black clay for the base, instead of the usual white to do my demonstrations. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! I loved the black even more than the white. Here are a few pics of what I did on Friday morning, experimenting with the black base clay.

Jenny, I enjoyed your class IMMENSELY. I didn’t know anything about polymer clay before I took your class (except that it needs to be heated). The fact that I came out of the class with pieces I felt excited about is a testimony to how good a teacher you are.
Thanks for a great time!
