I use a craft blade for many different media and would love blades that lasted longer and were sharper so my first choice to try would be the Z series exacto blades. And since I travel with my tools, the exacto cutter with retractable blades would be great. Those paint pens sound like they would be great for mixed media work for adding pops of color atop of other things since they are opaque.

Oh how I love Scissors. And the re-cycled Scissors by X-acto are one of my three choices. The other two are Elmers Craft App. Wow, very useful and the X-acto designer swivel blade. Handy to have it swivel.

All of these products are great and choosing just three was hard.
#6 Shape Templates would be great for use with my polymer clay or paper crafts
#7 Swivel blade X-acto would be great to use on polymer clay (with the templates)

I love all of the crafts, projects and materials! I especially liked the Elmer’s Painters! I could paint glass, material and projects with the paints. I absolutely love the Mother’s Day Card. I liked the information on all of the materials that were used for the project! I loved the free elmers craft app! Thanks for putting all these reviews in one place. My favorites are the Painters, spray adhesive and app. I am a big fan of the Painters. I use them on pellon to create flannel board pieces for children’s story times. The colors are so vibrant and child friendly. I’ve also used the spray adhesive on a number of projects and it’s super strong and does the job well. Lastly, I found the app review very helpful and will be recommending this to others.

O.K. Here goes…. (and I actually got some info that will put a couple of these items on my craft shopping list ASAP.
1… The new exacto-knife with the super sharp blade
2… The Spray adhesive (I actually have some but wasn’t totally sure how to use it or what would be necessary to catch the overspray. I had though a box would be best but didn’t think I could angle the can most effectively. Also, I have been using my big Xeron to put adhesive on the back of items and the refills are very expensive and I’ve had a lot of problems with the glue part doubling over on itself or leaving empty patches… hence my desire to give the spray a try.)
3… The Elmer’s App. I’m one of those people standing in the aisle reading labels and price tags and working myself into a panic attack trying to find what I need. If this thing is dependable as far as recommendations are concerned, it would be a real boon1

1. I’d choose the craft and tell, because it seems like it would be so neat to get a bunch of like minded people together and show them the product; 2 I’d choose the markers; I’ve used the white one and it works really well, so I figure the others do too; and 3 I’d take the exacto 5 series because I use exacto knives so much that I’m always having to replace the blades. I like the recycled scissors. Recycled anything is good, really, and we need a new scissors. The Glue Guide is interesting, if you’re serious about adhering things. And spray glue? Always a winner.

Once upon a time I made a very good living doing graphic design and ad production and Xacto blades were an absolute necessity – I would buy them in bulk! I would have loved to have had the swivel blade and Z-series would have been great for using a lot less blades. I’m going to suggest the Painters Markers to my daughter who paints on glass.

I love the X-Acto Z Series, I’ve had to use it several times in college doing design. Recycled scissors sounds like a novel idea, and friendly to the environment. The craft bond is a better alternative to the glue when you want stuff to stick but don’t want to have that “glued on” look.
