Happy Friday, y’all! This was a super-busy week- my kids were off on Spring Break and we took a trip to the Capitol. But I’m happy to be home and share an awesome GIVEAWAY with you- from a new sponsor, S&S Worldwide.
Make sure you get a chance to read my full review of the Color Splash Puffy Puttythey are offering to a lucky winner.
Here’s the description from the website:
Paint it, shape it, bounce it or stretch it! Use our amazing new Puffy Putty® modeling material to mold all kinds of craft creations that can be sculpted, air-dried and painted. Kids may even enjoy just the feel of it in their hands — simply return Puffy Putty® to its airtight container so it won’t dry out. Exclusively from Color Splash!® 24-oz. jar. Non-toxic.
I opened the container and the Puffy Putty is soft, pliable, and marsh-mallow like. It’s fun to handle and kind of soothing. Puffy Putty is very similar to big-brand soft modeling clays, but at a fraction of the cost. I can’t wait to put it through it’s paces!
But in the meanwhile, you can enter this week’s giveaway and win TWO tubs of Puffy Putty- and there are THREE WAYS to enter! Here’s how:
- Leave a comment on this post sharing how you spent your Easter or Spring Break.
- “Like” S&S Worldwide on their Facebook Page and then come back and leave a separate comment saying that you are. (You might want to even tell them that CTD sent you!)
- Follow S&S Worldwide on Twitter and then leave a separate comment here saying that you have.
And don’t look now, but if you “like” the S&S page, there’s a $100 shopping spree you can enter by sharing your email with them. Two-fer!

I only got Good Friday off this year. It was spent doing a bit of spring cleaning around the house. Not enough, but at least some has been done!

Oh I wish I had spring break… I don’t really celebrate Easter, so it was a pretty normal weekend to me: errands, art projects, taxes.

I would love to enter the puffy putty contest! unfortunatly Easter Sunday I spent the day in bed with my knee elevated since I had popped it out the day before! A week before Easter though we had our Easter Egg hunt and I was in charge of crafts for the kids to make and to set them up I came up with an idea to make bunny masks and I had everything cut out for them they just had to glue and decorate them it was a big success the familys still come and tell me how happy that it made the kids to have something fun to make and do on there own!

This clay looks like fun, I was wondering if it would be too sticky to use in my Cricut Expression or possibly my Cricut Cake…thoughts on those options??
Thanks!!
April 20, 2012 at 3:02 pm
Teresa- this clay has a high water content and is very sticky. I would NOT recommend using it with your Cricut. Stick to polymer clay instead- my tutorial is here: http://www.crafttestdummies.com/craft-projects-2/how-to-cut-polymer-clay-with-the-cricut/
Good luck! -Jenny
