Craft Haul: Stampin’ UP Holiday 2014 and Cards!

November 3, 2014

Eek! Halloween just ended…which means that Holiday crafting is in full swing! For those of us who make our own Holiday Cards, it’s time to get cracking. For me, that means doing some playing experimenting with different designs to see which one will actually “make the cut” and become the holiday card for the season.

I recently got a nice box of the Stampin’ UP holiday product to work with, and in this video I’ll share with you the items I received AND some of the sample cards I made.

Let’s take one more look at the holiday cards I made.

Vote for your favorite! And I'll even do a tutorial for the winning card.

Vote for your favorite! And I’ll even do a tutorial for the winning card.

Care to vote for a winner?

How about this- leave me a comment telling me which card you like the best, and I’ll chose one comment at random and send you five thank you cards made in that same style? That way you can send out lovely thank you cards after the holiday season is over!

I’ll keep the comments open until November 10, 2014 so that you all have time to decide- and I have time to get my cards made.

Thanks for being here!

I liked the one with Joy. It was elegant and looked like it could be mass produced quickly. I loved all of your designs!!

I like the Christmas tree one the best, but loved all 3 designs!

I like the “Merry” card the best. Can change the stamp and use it for any occassion.

I love the Festival of Trees card the best! Those colors are awesome together! Also, on the card with the “merry” stamp, embossing it on vellum is so pretty! On the trees and merry cards, is the background made from paper in the seasonal pack you showed in the video? Such pretty colors and I love the subtle design!

I had a hard time choosing between the Joy and Festival of Trees cards. They are all so pretty! I’m going to choose the Trees because I love the frosty, wintry color scheme. Also there is more going on on that card, and more is more, ya know?? Gotta love bling!

Of the 3 in the still shot, I like the “Joy” card the best, but of all the cards made, I like the feather card with the notebook paper. What a nice bundle of SU products!

Enjoy! (Please if I would be drawn, let someone else win, I just wanted to participate in the conversation.)

    Blessings!

When I first looked at the three finished cards, I was undecided between the wreath or the trees. I really do like the wreath, but the trees win out, mostly because of the way you designed the card beautiful job. Thanks for the inspiration.

I like them all, but the tree card is my favorite!

  27. marta says

I love them all, but I especially love the “Merry” one because is a bit different from the traditional ones, it is original and fancy, I love the brightness in it. Then I like the wreath card, because it is a beautiful image and I love the classic color scheme, and the one I like less (but I still like it a lot indeed) is the trees one because to me it seems like a less unusual card and looks like some other card I may have seen before.

  28. Kristen says

    November 3, 2014 at 20:17

i like the trees the best, but merry is a close second!!

I love the “JOY” wreath!!! I lost my mom, suddenly, in Jan. This is first of the holidays without her. It’s hard to keep things the way she did them, but we are trying!!! She loved wreaths. She had them for every season, theme and holiday. They hung on doors, walls and windows. Inside and outside. Large, small, cheap & expensive. It’s just her!!!

I like the ‘JOY’ card the best. The other two run a very close second.
