I Have Fairy Name

Jenny Sez, Kids Stuff

Ok, so I like fairies and all, but I’m not exactly a diehard fantasy chica. BUT, I thought this was cute…. and maybe it would inspire me to make a fairy of my own. Tag? Quilt? Doll? Not sure yet, but here’s my jumping off info:

Your fairy is called Tangle Elfwitch

She is a cheerful sprite.

She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.

She is only seen in the enchanted moment between sleep and waking.

She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate green wings like a cicada.

Most folks who know me know that I have rather, um, tangly  wavy hair, (hmmmm) and my house – especially my studio and my dining room table- lend toward great disorder! Maybe there is some thing to this!

Get your fairy name and leave a comment. Maybe we’ll do a challenge!

My fairy name is stupid! “Fire Goblinwitch” Mmm… not buying that at all.

Anyway I am kind of a “diehard fantasy chica” and I want everyone to know that in Wellington (Ohio) on June 21 is the 13th annual Fairy Festival at the Days of Yore herb and flower farm. AND HEY YOU CRAFTERS! They let you set up a craft vendor table free! Though I didn’t sell much, it was fun. Here is the site, with their phone number. http://www.daysofyoreherbandflowerfarm.com/

  3. Nycteris Says:

Er, let me just ammend that *last year* and previous years it was free- better call to make sure this year.

  4. Jenny Says:

Thanks for the info! Let me know if you’re vending again this year! I’ll come and take pictures!

Oh, and since I know Nycteris has FIREY RED HAIR, you’re name is not so lame, really!

My fairy is called Oak Goblinshimmer. She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in forests of oak and lime trees. She is only seen when the first flowers begin to blossem. I guess the lime thing just shows that I am a sour puss sometimes. I love to disappear during winter. I am not an admirer of that season.

  6. Dawn Says:

Oh WAIT!!! Wealth and riches what’s that all about? I haven’t seen any for AWHILE. LIKE NEVER.

Hey, Jenny… why am I not suprised that our fairy names are almost identical! I am “Tangle Elfwand”…She is a cheerful sprite. She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows. She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover. She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate green wings like a cicada. Time for another fairy painting! ~Jenna
