OK, I know I have reviews stacking up to the ceiling. But before I buckle down and get a-testing, I needed to play a bit. You know what I mean?
Of course you do. Crafters are like that. We can *have* to make a gift or card, but really we might be itching to do something completely different. We’re fickle like that.
So anyway, I got these sweet stamps that I saw on HSN- they are a part of Lisa Bearnson’s line. (I don’t have any affiliation, I just like the stamps.) They are called Simply Iconic.
I made you a little video to show you!
And here are a few more cards using that same stamp set- not so clean OR simple.
Fussy and Overblown, that’s MY motto!
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you work “clean and simple?” Make cards in bulk, like I seem to do? : )

I like your cards – both the CAS and not… I tend to gravitate to CAS cards generally. Most of the time I make cards one at a time. However, I LOVE the One Sheet Wonder method you posted a while back. I have used that a couple of times and love that I can easily create a number of cards – quickly. With Christmas cardmaking coming soon I will be making cards in bulk.
The popped-up ones.
OH, gosh! I just spent $$$$$$$$$$ on HSN! I truly only meant to get the Simply Iconic set. I think you’re bad for my budget! lol
Great simple cards, but with lots of style! I tend to get too involved and fussy and and these give me some great ideas for clean and simple. I think the paper airplane looks best popped up. Thanks for all you do, Jenny and CTD!!!
They all look great…I am inspired!
Very nice cards! Like most, I prefer the popped-up paper airplane. So cute. I also LOVE that washi tape that looks like old postage stamps. Was it in the HSN kit—or who makes it? Thanks!
I LOVE the cards you made & now I Have to get the stamps! Thank you for all of the great ideas!
Oh my gosh, I bought that same stamp set and have only played with the same two stamps you featured. I love both of your looks and I want to learn how to do what you did with the pop dot 🙂 Thanks as always!
P.S. Glad to know that I am not the only person who wants to play, when I have a craft task at hand.
