With so much to look at and experience at CHA this year, it was really difficult to pick out just a few of my favorite products. I sat and debated and crossed a few off of my list. But when it came down to it, I chose the ones that really made me go, “WOW” and the ones that I knew I wasn’t going to be able to live without. These were the ones where when I saw them for the first time in the booths, my eyes began to glass over and my brain began to check-out of CHA and into my la-la land of crafty creative possibilities. Here I’ve dwindled it down to these five in no particular order…
DecoArt Ink Effects – These are fabric inks that actually absorb into your fabric, so there’s no peeling away like an iron
on transfer. The other AMAZING thing about these is that you paint your design onto any kind of paper, from regular copy paper to even coloring book pages, and use that to transfer to your fabric with an iron. You can transfer the image more than once, the colors will lighten with each transfer, though. There will be twelve different colors available that are non-toxic and mixable. They will adhere to most synthetic fabrics and when using a special base coat, you can use them with cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. I see new screen printing tools premiering constantly; I think these will be a nice alternative and even addition to the products that are already on the market. I cannot wait to play with these. I think they will be great for home decor and kids crafts!
Heidi Swapp Color Magic - I have to admit, I’ve been a fan of Heidi Swapp for years. She was one of the big names when I started scrapbooking and I absolutely loved her older lines and was so excited when I saw she was coming out with a new release this season at CHA. This was one of the products when I saw demoed at CHA, I went “OHHH!!” I was literally blown away by all the possibilities that these paper products have. Color magic comes in 12×12 papers, alphabet letters and Heidi’s new memory files that all have a resist pattern and/or effect on them; you can spray, ink or paint them and wipe away the excess to reveal a gorgeous, custom colored image! The awesome thing when using color sprays is that the longer you leave them on the paper, the more intense the colors become. I love how extremely versatile these products will be. By having complete control of the colors that go on these papers, you can go dark and grungy to bright and funky. You could use them for boy or girl layouts and tailor them to any holiday or occasion you can imagine. The possibilities are endless! I don’t only want these, but I NEED these in mass quantities!!!
Lawn Fawn - I mentioned this booth on my first day at CHA post and I have to admit it is still one of my favorite product releases of the show! Their new paper and twine line, “Bright Side,” is absolutely me to a crafty “T”. I was instantly drawn to the rainbows, pinwheels and a little splash of kraft. It just says, “happy,” to me! And I just want to play with it and make all kinds of fun things! The owner Kelly Marie is the absolute sweetest, and I can tell her collection and designs are inspired and derived directly from her sunny disposition!
In addition to amazing papers and twine, Lawn Fawn has some amazing cling mounted acrylic stamps.  The designs are absolutely adorable. Talk about wanting to buy the whole collection!
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers - Ladies and gentlemen, they are here! A dream come true! Distress ink markers by Tim Holtz and Ranger ink! I know with Tim’s name on these markers they will be nothing short of fabulous. The markers will be available in all 36 colors of distress that we already know and love, in addition to a white picket fence marker. Oh yes, that’s right. A good opaque white marker and pen is so hard to come by and I know this one will not disappoint. These little beauties will be shipping February and can be purchased individually or in the complete set. But who will really just want a couple of these? I’m going to need them all!!!
Worldwin PhotoMatr Photo System – This is for the crafter and non-crafter alike. It’s an easy to use, streamline scrapbooking system with a focus towards your photos and it’s all made out of beautiful, fabulous kraft paper products. Kraft is so versatile which is one reason why I think the PhotoMatr products will appeal to so many different people.  You start out with an easy to use 3-ring binder and add different pages, pockets and inserts as you go. You can keep it simple and use the products available or add your own flair to it! Make sure you check out the video I took of Peter from Worldwin at CHA to get a closer look at all of the different products that the PhotoMatr system will offer!
What do you think crafters? Do any of these fabulous products look like they could make it to your “must have” list from this CHA season? Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear it! I will try to answer any questions as they come in, as well!

All very yummy stuff! I can not wait to try the distress markers!
Those markers are calling my name!!!!!
I’m a big Lawn Fawn fan. So far I only have 2 sets of their stamps but I plan to remedy that. 🙂 I also REALLY want to try the Distress Markers. I’ve been using some Copics but they’re SO bloody expensive!
Couldn’t agree more about Kelly Marie (owner of Lawn Fawn)… My favorite crafter and Lawn Fawn is my absolute favorite brand at the moment!! 50% is the cuteness of products, the other 50% is the exceptional customer service and their overall friendliness. I’ll have you know I have stopped shopping from certain brands, because they haven’t been too welcoming or friendly to me. Treating people right is key to make it in this business or any business for that matter!
LOVE a lot of the other goodies shown on here (:
