It shouldn’t be a big surprise that Ranger Ink is my favorite booth to visit at CHA! I love seeing all of the happy, familiar faces of people that work with the company and running into my friends from Ranger U. I also love watching and taking video demo’s from the designer’s and getting to see how their crafty brains work! (Make sure to check out Craft Test Dummies YouTube Channel to see all of the awesome demo’s we got at Ranger from this last CHA!) Check out some photos I took below of some of the samples and new goodies debuting from Ranger this season!
Here is Tim with the brand new Distress Marker Spritzer! I can’t wait to get my crafty hands on one of these! I can see myself playing and testing with this new tool for hours!
Another new product from Tim and Ranger this season; mini distress ink foam blending tool! This little guy is not only adorable but will help you get into your projects’ nooks and crannies! I’ve been wanting something smaller like this for distress inks for some time, so I’m thrilled about this product!
Brand new this season are MINI distress inks! If you’ve already, as I like to say, “collected,” all of Tim’s regular sized distress inks, these new 1″x1″ wonders might not tickle your fancy. However, if you’re a newbie to distress inks these would be great to get your collection started at a reduced price and just to play with and get your crafty-feel for them. Or maybe you predominantly use your black and shades of brown distress inks and are weary of trying some of the bright colors; these would be great little options for you. Most of all, these are AWESOME for crafty teachers and instructors. They take up less space when you travel and need to transfer a lot of product and are more cost-effective for kits and/or class supplies.
I LOVE Tim’s new stencil designs! The hearts, speckles and chevron are my top three favorites!!!
AHHHH!!! I am OBSESSED with my regular-sized tattered floral die; I can honestly say that it is my most used die. When my crafty eye spied this jumbo tattered floral die I about fell over! This is another one of those products I can’t wait to get my hands on! (These should start becoming available in local stores now!)
One thing I couldn’t locate a photo of, but I really wanted to let you guys know about are Dina Wakley’s new paint brushes. These babies are crazy high-quality which is great because I’m really tough on my brushes. The brushes have a perfect ratio of stiffness to give that I also look for.
And finally, I thought I would share a fun story from the show floor with my fellow crafty dummies. At CHA there is generally an ocean of people surrounding Tim’s table and you can regularly hear in excited yet hushed voices, “Oh look, there’s Tim!” And when I’m asking questions about products or taking demo video of him, I’m often asked to take a photo of him and one of his many crafty fans. On one of these occasions, two lovely ladies were very excited to get their picture taken with Tim and when he put his hand on one of their shoulder’s, the other shrieked, “Oh my God, he’s touching you!” Needless to say everyone that was around got quite a giggle!
As I said before, Ranger is always my favorite booth to visit at CHA. Everyone there is so friendly not to mention they have my favorite crafty products! Plus, you never know what you’re going to see or hear!
Well, my fellow crafter’s, let me know what Ranger products you are most excited about in the comments!
