The other day my new friend Linda posted some GORGEOUS cards- and they knocked my socks off! I got so smitten with the technique, I had to try it myself.
And while I was on a roll, I had to make a video, too!
Here are some of Linda’s cards…beautiful, right?
I’m completely hooked! I challenge YOU to make a card and post it in the linky below. Let’s share the inspiration! And I’ll pick 3 folks at random to get a goodie pack with some paper and stamps. 🙂

Great tutorial! I had forgotten all about that technique!
LOVE the technique. Now all I have to do is remember it when I sit down and brainstorm.
Jenny, thanks so much for showcasing my cards! We need to have a card making get together!
I loved these because of their simple elegance. I am so very sick of the over-embellished look. Thanks!
Loved it Jenny!
This reminded me of a technique that I haven’t done in ages with the dye based inks. Using watercolor paper also, you make a small puddle of ink on the paper (if you mist the paper with water first you get different results which are also great). Then you blow the puddle through a straw to move the ink around. Repeat with as many colors/puddles as you like. I would do this on full sheets of paper and then let them dry and cut them into smaller pieces or use the sheets with a die cutter for really pretty shapes. Hope this inspired you too!
lol!!! and I thought I had made a brilliant discovery!!! I accidently stamped my acrylic block thinking I had put an acrylic stamp on it….not knowing what to do with it I dragged it across some scrap paper; then tried it with another and voila! my discovery was made!! no idea is really original …oh well!! thanks for video love the technic
I have this technique before but haven’t done it yet. Love how you added stamps to the card.
Thanks Jenny for all your videos and demos.
I can’t wait to go try this technique! (I have to get some water color paper.)
Your results are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I just watched this video. What a super technique! So easy and so effective.

Love the dye stamp/stain on WC paper idea (new to me). Now, I just need to find my acrylic blocks!
